What to Expect on Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning Celebration (Starting Time is 10am)

We seek to make Sunday mornings welcoming, meaningful, and fun for everyone who comes. You won’t have to do anything you don’t want, and we promise not to make you feel put on the spot.

Once you arrive, you can grab a free cup of coffee or tea, and relax in our café area, or grab a program and head straight into the auditorium for the service. There will be friendly people around to say hi and show you where to go.

If you have kids, we have children and youth programs from infants through high school. You can check your younger children into their classrooms before the service, while children 3rd grade and older will stay with you during the first part of the service when we sing together. They will then go to their classrooms during the announcements. Don’t worry, we will make that clear when you come and they will meet an adult who will help them get to the right place. Click for more info about our KIDS and YOUTH programs.

At the beginning of our service, we enjoy singing songs together that are led by our band. Many people sing along to the words projected on the wall, but others don’t. Worshiping with music is a personal God experience, so feel free to sing along, clap, or just sit back and listen.

After singing together, there are some quick announcements, followed by a sermon. The sermon is about 30 minutes and will come from one of our pastors or church leaders. We teach lessons from the Bible that apply to our daily lives.

The service ends with an option for anyone who wants to receive personal prayer from our prayer team. If you want prayer for any need you have, feel free to go to the designated place where several people who love to pray will be available to you. Otherwise, you will be dismissed to pick up your kids, grab another cup of coffee or tea, look over any of the information brochures we have in the lobby, or ask any questions of one of our people.

Our time together lasts about 75 minutes. We aren’t a terribly formal church, so you can dress anyway you like. If you are little late or need to make a quick exit, you won’t feel embarrassed.

It can be daunting looking for a new church, or coming to a church for your first time but we understand and are glad to have you with us!
