Developing the Church Body
Our purpose as a church is to produce mature, culturally diverse disciples of Jesus Christ and to plant healthy, mature, reproducing churches throughout the Triangle. By maturity, we mean lives that are marked by love and obedience to Jesus Christ. We want to see believers who are passionately committed to Jesus Christ, to His Church (God's Redeemed People) and to His Cause (The Kingdom of God). By reproducing, we mean lives and churches that generate other mature Christians and Churches. This is the work of God's Kingdom entrusted to us.

#1. Alpha
Exploring Questions of Life and Faith Together
Alpha is a 9 week practical introduction to Christian faith designed primarily for
people who are seeking to better understand the person and teachings of Jesus
and the basics of Christianity. It is an opportunity to explore the truth and relevance
of Christian faith in a fun and non-threatening atmosphere with lots of opportunity for
discussion.
Each Alpha evening begins at 6:30 with a complementary dinner, followed by a talk
on a relevant topic of faith, and a small group discussion time where any questions
about God and faith may be asked.
There is no cost for the course and childcare is provided for children 10 and under.
Registration is necessary as class size is limited. Our next class will begin
Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Call Barbara
Orthner at 790-0001 or click HERE to register for the next class.
#2. Beta Course: Following Jesus Together
God's desire is that every student of Jesus (disciple) would grow and mature spiritually. Practically speaking, growing in maturity means growing in love for God and others. The 6 week Beta course aims at helping a believer grow to a new depth with Jesus Christ by exploring the purpose, lifestyle, and challenges of a follower of Jesus. A special concern of this class is to address with Biblical truth any lies or misconceptions that would cause a Christian to give up on God, His people (the church), or himself as a Christ follower. The class is practical and interactive and includes lots of opportunity for discussion.
Call Barbara Orthner at 790.0001 for more information or to register for the class.
