We believe in a personal God who wants to have a relationship with us. He confirmed that by sending Jesus to be with us, show us how to live, and give us the freedom to experience forgiveness for our wrongs, and a life with meaning and purpose.
We believe that church is people, not a building. We are a people in process who desire to have a real connection to the living God. That is why we do church together. We want to help each other connect to God and connect to His purposes for our lives. It is too hard doing this alone; better to do it together!
We believe that God also provides the Holy Spirit to give us strength to overcome challenges in our lives. This is a real aspect of God who guides us, gives us power to change, provides healing for our brokenness, and instills hope for our future.
We believe that God calls us to serve others. A relationship with God should not be a secret that we keep to ourselves. We are a people who want to bring the hope of God to those who are struggling, needy, challenged, ill, or just need a comforting word. We want to be known in our city for giving the love of God away.
Growing together with God in service to others. We experience the blessings of God when we give the love of God to others.
Bringing hope and promise to the hurting and lonely: in our church, in our community, and in the world in which we live.
Moving forward from wherever we are now to experiencing God in new and fresh ways. This is an adventure and a journey. Each of us moves at a different pace but our expectation is to grow to be more like Jesus in our thoughts and behavior.
We want our church to be fun. Playing together, trying out new things, seeing the world through God’s eyes, and doing life together should make us laugh.
We think a church should help right the wrongs that we see in the world. We want to intercede for those who are struggling and those who feel that others have turned their backs on them.
We see God sometimes break through and do awesome things. We believe God still does miracles and we ask for these, because we are called to do so. God even speaks to people today in special ways and we hope for that too.
We love how God made us all so different. We think being all the same is boring. We want a church with different colors, languages, genders, ages, economic circumstances, personalities and abilities. That is a reflection of who we will be for eternity.
