Alpha

Alpha is a chance to explore the Christian faith.  If you are interested in learning more, or are a new follower of Jesus, this 9-10 week experience may be exactly what you are looking for.  Each week of Alpha, we begin the evening with a meal together, listen to a speaker talk about certain aspects of Christian faith, and conclude the evening with a time in small groups to process and talk about what was shared that evening.  Most importantly, there will be plenty of time for each person to ask any and every question they have about the Christian faith. No questions are out of bounds at Alpha.

Weekly topics for Alpha experience are:

  • Who is Jesus?
  • Why did Jesus die?
  • How can I be sure of my faith?
  • Why and how should I read the Bible?
  • Why and how do I pray?
  • How does God guide us?
  • How can I resist evil?
  • Does God heal today?
  • What about the church?
  • Why and how should I tell others?

The Alpha experience happens twice a year in our community and is free for everyone who wants to participate.  People high school age and above are welcome to participate.  Childcare is available for children under 10 years old and is free also.
